What is TBT?

With nearly 20 years of training and expertise, I’ve learned how to spot common posture issues and movements that aren’t ideal. These problems can make it more likely for someone to get injured. My goal is to help you move better and stay injury-free.

True Balance Therapy (TBT) is my way of helping you continue your recovery after you’ve completed physical therapy. It’s also perfect for preparing your body to prevent injuries and for addressing ongoing muscle pain and discomfort.

At the heart of TBT is my commitment to enhancing how you move, achieving harmony among your body’s joints through better muscle function, and deepening your understanding of your own body. This means learning to recognize painful postures and how to avoid them.

I offer TBT as a clear plan to not only relieve your pain but also to enhance your posture and empower you to maintain these benefits long-term. It’s about getting you back to your everyday joys—like playing with your kids or enjoying active days without pain.

TBT is especially suited for those who’ve had some physical therapy but still don’t feel quite right, or for anyone seeking more targeted help after visits to a chiropractor or doctor for muscle issues. However, it’s important to remember that TBT isn’t suitable for treating severe injuries like recent fractures or major tears.

In my practice at True Balance Therapy, I take a whole-body approach to improve your overall function, using a blend of techniques informed by various disciplines. While I am a licensed massage therapist and a specialist in posture and neurological posture corrections, TBT isn’t a substitute for medical treatment. Please check with your doctor first if you have any health concerns.

Thank you for considering True Balance Therapy. Have a truly balanced day! And remember, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
